The market is much larger than ours when you look abroad, many are dismissive of what we have to offer and some have simply yet to discover the jems that emerge from Africa. </p>
<p>However one blogger is breaking that mould. <a href="http://gladtobeagirl.co.za">Glad to be a girl</a> has taken home the Best African Weblog award at the <a href="http://2009.bloggies.com/">Ninth Annual Weblog Awards</a>. I think this is a fantastic achievement for the blog and for South African bloggers alike. </p>
