The incredible part about this story is not that DJ Black Coffee set a new record, ’cause he did. That part was seemingly easy for the man. The tough part for me to comprehend is that he did it with one arm.
DJ Black Coffee set a new world record for spinning by doing his work for 60 straight hours.
From the Telegraph:
Nkosinathi Maphumulo, 34, completed the challenge on Sunday at a charity event in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The dance music DJ, who lost his left hand in an accident aged 13, hopes video footage of the event will win him a place in the Guinness Book of Records.
He said: “I stayed strong. The music kept me going. I’m going to be a better DJ as I was doing it for a greater reason.
“At some stage I held back tears.”Nkosinathi, who uses the stage name Black Coffee, started his record attempt in a shopping mall at midnight last Thursday.
Under the rules of the record attempt he was allowed a 20 minute comfort break every four hours. But his manager told South Africa’s Sowetan newspaper he finished in style by playing the final 15 hours without stopping at all.
Wow. What an amazing achievement.

It’s “incredible” alright: incredibly weird, and incredibly useless.

@ Elgar – raising awareness for the destitute is weird and useless is it? Do some research will you – http://faraitoday.com/2010/09/27/60-hours-world-record-breaking-black-coffee/

HAHA
What a Joke
Firstly it is a 5 minute break every one hour , or 1 hour per Day
Secondly I hold the Endurance record of 227 hours NON-STOP
I have all the proof and the letters and it was done during December 1982 at the Hypermarket by the sea in Durban North
I could do 60 hours now easily at the at of 45
What a Joke

Good day! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Well made, I’m not really convinced, are you sure it’s true? Although I constantly enjoy electronic gadgets and devices We’ve learned to always be sceptical. There are so many posts about tech on the web that they should never really be considered as absolute reality. If you are searching for information about electronic devices perphaps look at user reviews such as this http://franklin-electronic09.tumblr.com/rss In any event I will bookmark this site on digg and keep in touch.

Alright sincerely.. that’s got to be fake. Maybe I’m not seeing it correctly however a actual ring that size would be a ridiculous amount of money. Like way ridiculous.
