Not bad Mr Prez. I must say you have scruples. Not only can you run a country but you can manage 5 wives and families, I am impressed. Good job.
I’ll join the nation in welcoming another “first lady” to the country: Tobeka Madiba.

So all in all, congrats to President Zuma.

I am amazed that a practice called bigamy in the civilised world finds its foremost representative in the shape of a South African chieftain, and admiration in this blog.

Seems like this Elgar comment person is your biggest fan. He’s everywhere! Personally, the only issue I have with this is that the wives are supported by the government, and ultimately, the tax-paying citizens. In Canada, the Prime Minister gets a modest set salary which does not include a separate spousal allowance. But as for the multiple wives thing…let me toss this bone in just for fun – who cares? Don’t people have enough to worry about besides what goes on in people’s bedrooms? Live and let live, I say. Besides, the more first ladies, the more political fashion ‘do’s and don’ts’ to follow!
