I was fortunate enough to receive photos of the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban over email.
I managed to find a source for the photographs. Credit goes to Lefty Shivambu for the all of the photos.
Have a look for yourself.
Forget Greenpoint, Port Elizabeth or any other stadium, this one simply blows my mind.

Wow, it sure is immpressive. Still.. greenpoint stadium has an advantage, purely based on it’s position.

As a Durbanite, I’m super-stoked with the stadium. When it was going up, I thought it might be a bit of an eye-sore but it’s sleek, polished look is amazing now.
@Godsgimp: Greenpoint stadium is pretty amazing right by the sea. Durban’s one is pretty close though and can be seen from many parts of Durban. I guess they’re both special in their own ways

Oh yeah. The arch that goes over the top has a cable car on it (I can hear Cape Townian making rumblings about how their cable car is sooooo much better already).
Apparently they are going to be doing bungy-jumping from the top of the arch too. Stoked!
