It’s fantastic to see such a prominent movie producer/direct like Peter Jackson speak so highly of talented South Africans. Not only is the movie directed by a South African, but it stars South Africans and is produced in Johannesburg and based in Johannesburg.
I cannot wait to see how this film comes together.

Looks like it’s opening everywhere in the world today except here! Surely our cinemas could get their act together for a film that so many locals are going to be interested in seeing?I mean, they’ve got GI Joe organised, why not D9? GAAAHHH!!!

Saw this film over the weekend (I’m a Saffa living in the US) – it is an amazingly original film that I would HIGHLY recommend. Go Neill Blomkamp!
