Doing it for my country

Some may know that I have recently taken ownership of my very first property! Very exciting stuff.

While perusing the isles of Builder’s Warehouse I stumbled across a fantastic addition to my new home. This South African Toilet seat will most definitely become a point of discussion at dinner parties as the guests experience it one at a time (hopefully!).

There exists a school of thought that holds that national flags should not appear on mundane items as this shows disrespect of the flag.

    Fair enough I suppose Steve!

As you can well see, I am not a part of that school of thought. And I suppose one can get pretty picky about that theory too, like a badge, a t-shirt, banners, car stickers etc etc etc. And the colour-combinations could be taken to task of many other things/items and such to be questioned in the same way? What do you think?

Some might be accepting of the flag image on stickers, badges, mugs, etc. but draw the line at underwear and toilet seats. Personally I don’t give a shit. :)

I think if the intention is to promote the flag then it is no less acceptable to place the image on a toilet seat than a fighter jet. If you want to draw a line then it should be flag only vs. anything goes.

Do you love South Zimbabwe so much because you are to stupid to leave and get a better life or is it just because you are STUPID.

Oh, so infidel has gone to USA – he’s gone to join his own kind? Why does he continue to contribute to a South African blog? Bored? Can’t find friends there either? And where exactly is South Zimbabwe? Sorry, don’t want a reply to that – get a life in USA and hope you don’t have to return to SA.
