Why Ha ha. Manufacturing of Zakumi created jobs & taught skills. Paint on paper is easy, but to create a Mascot from the little drawing needed thinking, teaching & the results are what you have now for 2010. Cora’s Costumes in SA also manufactured the 1998 French World Cup Mascots (15). It is a Proudly South African Company.

Go for it Cora’s Costumes!! I don’t think people realize how much time and effort goes into making a Mascot.

Hey Cora!! Thanks for your comment, that’s impressive information that Cora’s Costumes also did the French mascot, great to know! :)

I love the look in Zakumi’s eyes when he holds the football in his hand..The eyes say – You are going to see soon, how amazing I am. I am going to do it and do it well.

It’s like South Africa and the World Cup – as if Zakumi is saying – ‘Look out world, we’re going to host the world cup and we’re going to do an amazing job of it!”
