One holiday wish from the SA government

I might be opening a massive can of worms but I am interested to know what you would ask for if the government in SA gave you one wish?

I would wish for voter competency in our country so that voting for politicians was done in an above-board and fair manner. This way we would have more chance of electing a worthwhile candidate in to office.

Let’s try keep the wishes are realistic as possible here. Don’t ask Tito to give you a billion rand, it wont happen!! :)

Merry new years and a Hap-hap-happy holiday to everyone today!

Hope SA is rocking your world today.

Perhaps this is not the best Platform to express my wish, but here goes. Today is Christmas and by chance i switched on Sabc 3 and watched Oprah (say what you will she does great work) and the Topic of Hiv and aids was the focus and how stores in America are taking initiative and having a red sale where profits are going towards ARV. The stats amazed me 50c can provide two tablets which is enough to save a life a day. My wish is this, instead of turning to the U.S.A for help why not let our Government or stores provide an on going campaign that makes a difference not just awareness (yes awareness is great but lets get proactive) lets get stores Telkom, edgars ETC to campaign the selling of certain products which will go towards purchasing of ARV. I believe one concert is not enough its not ongoing we need a constant reminder. Let our Government show the big Powers we can do it for ourselves we can also Provide the platform for The rest of Africa to do it for themselves Come on SA Government . That is my wish

This probably flies a bit in the face of the previous suggestion, but I think that there’s a load of benefits from applying to the United States of America to make South Africa the 51st state of the United States of America.

The politicians are always saying all sorts of things. I wish the politicians would stop the talk and actually do something about realising the full potential of the country and all its peoples.

There are actually so many things I would like to wish for, so maybe my one wish should be that I can have a further 100 wishes.

Arnold I tend to agree that one wish wont solve our problems! But I think that wishing for wishes is against the ancient rules of wishing!! :)
