Jen is a 22 year old Nigerian American. She has family in South Africa but lives in New York City and is currently in Singapore traveling! She had this to say about South Africa:
After visiting South Africa couple of time I can truly say SA rocks. South Africa is the second African country I ever visited (see I know the difference) and every time I go back I look forward to it.
In my opinion what makes South Africa a truly rocking country is the people. Through all my visits I found the people to be warm, accommodating, willing to lend a helping hand (I got lost inside the Johannesburg airport) and fun. I think what has struck me most is the fact that South Africa has a past and the people of South Africa though not forgetting the past are making a remarkable effort to get over it and coming together as a nation. There is a lot culture in South Africa, which is growing everyday there is a lot of craft, I LOVE South African craft it’s originality is outstanding.
I think the South African people should be incredibly proud to be part of a country that is diverse and full of talent. A country that is probably at the top of the tourism list in Africa and has many westerners jumping at the chance to experience its splendour.
So South Africa rocks not just because I say so, but also because it’s got great people, is scenically appealing and has a wonderful nightlife. I dig SA it totally rocks.
Thanks Jen
