This blog is dedicated to telling the world how amazing South Africa is. The people, the pastimes, the places and everything else. I am not saying our country is perfect, no country is, but I am saying that there is a lot more good in SA than people like to admit.

Oh I love it… especially the background, really makes the page standout.
So is this site all about how rocking sa is? or is there room for flaws then combated with redeeming qualities?
I love it though and SA does rock!

Um, well… that’s tricky. I really don’t want the blog to become a forum where people moan and bitch about the country. I am not saying that there is nothing to moan about I am just trying to make people understand that for every bad there is a good, if not many goods.
Feel free to crit and discuss anything that is posted here, but try to keep things rational and in perspective. I will not be entering in to slinging contests where sides battle one another in debates that have been going on for over 12 years. But debate is promoted!!

From what I’ve heard, this blog is in response to the ‘other’ S.A site whose name we shall not mention for fear of wretching. this site rocks! and so does S.A. Good on u Nic for responding in such a positive way. To the revolting ‘dude’ in New Zealand: Easy enough to get in right? they take all the rubbish…. oh… and u suck!

I think it is a fantastic idea, a very mature response as well. I think keeping things in perspective is most important, lest the proudly south african idea become blase. I appreciate that we have some truly wonderful things to be proud of. ROCK ON PEEPS!!!
